Elm Springs Tree Planting Project This past fall the Hobbs Camp undertook the task of planting 40 trees at the International Headquarters. On Saturday, 23 October 2004, six camp members drove to Elm Springs and professionally landscaped the drive leading to the headquarters building. For their efforts each member received a letter of appreciation signed by 22 members of the General Executive Council and a Commendation Medal presented by Executive Director Ben Sewell. Note: A photo and write-up about the project is located on page 33 of the November/December 2004 issue of the Confederate Veteran. These trees will serve as a permanent reminder of the Camp #768 efforts. A job well done.
