The Hobbs Camp #768 next regular monthly meeting will be on Thursday, 18 February, at 7:00PM.   The program at this Camp Meeting will be on the Sesquicentennial Celebration (honoring the 150^th anniversary of the struggle for Southern Independence).  The speaker is Alabama Division Judge Advocate, Philip Davis.

The Mary Fielding OCR Chapter are planning a Spaghetti Dinner (click here for more info) Fundraiser ($7.50/person) prior to our meeting.  The dinner will begin at 6:00pm and our meeting will begin at the usual time of 7:00 PM.  Come hungry!!!!!!!!!!

Location will be the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives on Pryor Street, next to the railroad tracks.

Hope all can make the meeting bring your family and friends.  We need a large turnout for this special meeting.

 

 

At the Secession Convention at Montgomery, a resolution is offered which calls for the formulation of "a Confederacy of the states which have seceded from the United States."
